Tips for Healthy Skin

The tips are for you if you have oily skin, dry skin or a combination of both. Not only do they apply to your face and body but can be applied to anything else you may have oily skin on.

The common things I hear people say about these oils are that they make skin look bad. That they give off an earthy smell. Others say they cause acne. So, it is important to know what the truth is. You will need more than one oil to keep your skin moisturized. If all oils go away when you stop, there is no way to get them back. Once you start using some, your skin won’t seem like you had any before. This is because your skin cells are getting used to the products that you use. To avoid this, I recommend you use a few different types to keep your skin from drying out and flaky as soon as possible. They are often found in everything I use. These include lotion, cream, gel cleanser and lotion soap.

Stay Away From Saturated Oils and Ingredients.

Stay Away From Saturated Oils and Ingredients.

When it comes to applying any product, keep away from sulfites, parabens and other additives that contain high amounts of a few different compounds called surfactants. I would prefer not to be too much concerned with those though. Just about every single brand has some sort of ingredient that makes up for some of its products. My products are made mostly of organic ingredients so I don’t have to worry about it. Instead, just stick with natural ingredients. Something else I am always looking for when shopping for something is to find ones that do not have alcohol, fragrance and certain chemical added too. A good rule of thumb is that a product should last longer than a day, maybe two days, before needing to be thrown away.

Use Only Organic Products

My only recommendation I would make is that you only buy certain things at the store and try not to stray too far to the point. The reason being because once you start using these products as soon as they are out, the chemicals become diluted, and your skin starts to look worse than before you started. Also, I recommend it to wash your hands thoroughly so that the products do not become absorbed into your hand’s skin. It is also very important that you know what products you are buying and how long they have been used. After a couple uses, your skin will start to look better for sure.

So, the best thing to do when you start having problems looking like you did with these products is to use those only that don’t have the same ingredients as others. Keep away from using those of the highest quality ingredients. At least two applications or even less for each ingredient is good enough if you want to keep your skin moist. Other products that might irritate your skin are also very toxic so keep that in mind just in case you get irritated by something you buy on Amazon. Be aware of what you are going to put out your lips and hands to make things better. All in all, it is very easy to overdo it on your skin. Just let it all hang out, let your skin breathe and enjoy nature instead of worrying about it.

Don’t Eat Too Much Fatty Foods.

Don't Eat Too Much Fatty Foods.

It sounds so cliche now. But when you have oily skin, eating fatty foods seems to be one of my biggest causes. Of course, a little bit of fat is nice, but too many? Well then, yes, you have an issue. Being sensitive, you want your skin to keep it’s moisture. You also want to prevent it from drying out because if it isn’t moisturized properly your skin will break out, and eventually, if you start having dry skin, it will take more time for your dry skin to show up. In order for this to happen, you will need to see a great deal of moisture. When you have oily skin, things that don’t moisturize properly like chocolate can cause this problem. Most importantly, your skin needs a lot of water to stay healthy. Having a ton of sugar on your system is what you need for this. What do you do then? Do you throw those calories back into your system? Believe it or not, they end up in your face like that. On top of that, you have to do all the damage from the excess sugar! Now this does not mean that you don’t love desserts just in a small moderation. Some recipes include excessive sugar and that is completely understandable. There is nothing wrong with loving that cake because it is delicious. However, remember the importance of not eating large quantities of it.

Moisturizes Your Hands and Forearms.

Moisturizes Your Hands and Forearms.

I have heard people saying that their fingers become too slick when they have oily skin. As someone who loves doing a variety of crafty things, I agree! Many people also complain of being bothered by small licks on their hands that turn black for a minute. Again, that is due to moisture levels. It does not have to be that big of a problem after all. I would suggest that you use a light moisturizer. Make sure you let the product sit overnight for just about every area of your hands. This means if you apply some on your nails, on your palm or all over your fingertips. Once the product gets to your upper area, massage it lightly in the direction of your fingers. Then, leave it there on for a few minutes, so that your whole finger gets dried. It doesn’t have to be a lot. Massage it around three times, then apply some more on your lower half as well. No matter where you are, this will definitely help you stay comfortable. With that kind of skin, moisturizing takes care of your whole body and leaves your hands with lots of moisture. Let’s say you have a friend who has the worst oily skin. How would you treat that person? Would you recommend they cook them a little extra? Maybe add a bit of olive oil? That is the type of treatment I would give anyone. We live in a world where everyone wants to be cared for like this. Especially your skin. Take care of yourself so that you can relax without worrying how your hands look.

Start Using Retinol Every Day.

Start Using Retinol Every Day.

This is the most crucial step. Remember how I said above that oils are like bad grease? So, you might think: “How would I ever remember to moisturize my hands?” Well, don’t be silly. Here it is simple. Just use Retinol daily and it will work wonders for you. I have noticed that retinol works exactly like normal moisturizers. They work really well for me only because I use them with some regular moisturizer. This means that the liquid keeps your hands from leaving the bed when you wake up. Since there is no residue, they can then be kept for other purposes other than working as a moisturizer. Even if you don’t already have Retinol by, I would suggest you get it. Its cheap and easily accessible, it helps absorb excess oil and prevents oil from evaporating away. Plus, Retinol also absorbs the sun’s UV rays, which means that your skin will actually remain hydrated as long as you use Retinol regularly. By following this simple routine, you can expect to have glowing skin for forever!
